BC Signs is the data controller for the personal information held in this system.

What we hold

For the people we work with at client organisations: your name, role and business contact details, a record of our dealings with you, and the work we are carrying out for your organisation.

Why we hold it

To carry out the work we have agreed to do for you, or to take steps before entering an agreement, and to keep the records of it we are required to keep.

Who sees it

Our own team. We use third parties to send email and to host this system, and they act only on our instructions.

If you ask us to delete your information

We will, with one exception. Where we have already placed you with a client, we keep the record of that placement and the confirmation showing you had been vetted for it — we are required to be able to show that the person who worked a shift had been checked for it, and that obligation outlives your relationship with us. Everything else about you goes.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it where we are not required to keep it, and object to how we are using it. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.
